People like to knock Buffalo, and that makes me mad! So what if we lost
four Superbowls in a row, so what if we lost the Stanley Cup on an illegal
goal, so what if the Titans scored a 95 yard cross field lateral to knock
us out of the Flutie playoffs! So what if the stupid local politicians
can't agree to develop the waterfront! So what if they built UB in Amherst
instead of downtown! So what if the metro doesn't go anywhere! So what
if 95% of everyone I know left town never to return? |

| I mean face it, if you don't know where to eat in Bufftown, you're screwed. There's not much else to do besides eat and drink. This list is my personal favorite list, and I've never brought someone to one of these places and not have them satisfied. If they weren't, I stopped speaking to them because they're obviously wacked out. | |||||||

You can pretty much stop at any place on Elmwood art district and have a great breakfast. There's nothing like grabbing a nice bite on a cold winter morning and then strolling along with a cup o' joe looking at the 19th century buildings. Solid Grounds (431 Elmwood, at Bryant, Buffalo, NY 14222 · 716-882-5282) is a standard. 6.Hoak's on the Lake. 54100 Lakeshore Road, Hamburg, NY, (716)
